NETCo offers a circular tramway. This could be built in one or two stages depending on finance. The first route we proposed is from Haymarket to Newhaven in an anti-clockwise direction. The second route, the Roseburn Link, is from Haymarket to Leith in a clockwise direction. Both could be built together.

This section mostly illustrates the proposed first route with a map, description and street scenes. However it also includes a map of the Roseburn Link. The proposed system has been designed in sufficient detail to apply for a Parliamentary Order, which allows the system to be constructed. There may be changes to details in the final scheme, but the outline illustrated here is as representative of the finished project as it can be. It also links to other tram and light rail systems which are running or being built around the world.
